try running it as admin if possibly you put it somewhere inaccessible by the game.
metal wouldn't work because ships you see usually have hulls filled with air to keep them afloat
check your inputs if they are set correctly
extract the folder from the zip file
did you extract it properly?
some times rotating it with "r" fixes it, I had the same problem
